Here Is A Central New York Road Work Report

The Route 840 westbound ramp will be closed until 3 pm today so work can be done to repair and replace sections of damaged guidrail. The state DOT says the closure will also affect the 840 westbound connection to the North-South Arterial. They will direct youAlso in Oneida County, the I-790 between Edic Road and Leland Ave will be a slow go as  motorists will encounter a lane closure eastbound or westbound, due to crack sealing operations. The North Genesee Street bridge over Whitesboro Street and CSX railroad is a spot to watch out for. There will be  intermittent, daytime, short-term lane closures northbound due to joint repairs. You may encounter delays.

In the city of Oneida, Route 5 between Route 46 and Seneca Street and Route 46 between Glenwood Ave and Route 5 will have you waiting a bit in traffic. Sidewalk, drainage and utility work continues. Work will take place off the roadway so just a minor delay may be encountered due to an occasional lane closure.
