Are There Bigfoot Like Creatures in the Adirondack Mountains?

When you hear about Bigfoot or Sasquach, the talk is usually about the Pacific Northwest.  But are there unidentified creatures like Bigfoot in Upstate New York?

There are legends of Bigfoot-like creatures in both the Catskill and Adirondack Parks.

Whitehall, located near the Vermont border in Washington County is often cited as a hotspot for Bigfoot activity in New York State.  From TeamNSRA.net:
