Being a procrastinator is always looked at as a bad thing, but maybe it's time to embrace it, and realize it's just how we are.

Life's busy - doctor and dentist appointments, work, balancing the kids' schedules and after-school activities - It seems like the worse idea would be to wait to the last minute to do... anything. The only way to get ahead in life is to plan and schedule, and get everything done as soon as possible... But maybe it's not.

If you're normally a procrastinator, you know it's SO hard to try and get things done in a timely manner - You can get everything done that you need to do, but it's just easier to do it at the last minute. You've probably tried NOT to procrastinate (maybe you were even able to make it work for a week or two), but something always happens and you go back to your old ways.

Maybe it's time to start embracing your procrastinating tendencies. Maybe it's time to realize that, that's just how we are and it's not going to change. After all, it's a personality characteristic, and you don't have to change who you are.

Instead of beating yourself up for not being able to get things done as soon as possible, it's time to embrace it. So you don't get everything done right away - So what! You don't have to. If you always push your work off until the last minute, you probably work better under pressure.

So if you're a chronic procrastinator, enjoy your days that you don't get anything done. Live in the moment, because you KNOW you'll get what you need to get done, later. Don't worry about pushing things off to the last minute, if that's how you are, that's how you are! As long as you get your work done, even if you push it off to the last minute, it doesn't matter.

***If you push things off to the last minute, and you can't seem to get everything done... Well, then maybe it's time to reevaluate your life decisions. Otherwise embrace your personality, and Happy Procrastinating!
