Get Organized with Naomi Lynn: What to Do with Those Old Christmas Cards [SPONSORED]
Deb Cabral, the DeClutter Coach, shows Naomi Lynn what to do with all those Christmas cards we get year after year.
What do you do with your Christmas cards after the holidays are over? Do you just throw them away? Are they just sitting in a box? Do you ever look at them again or get them out for the next holiday season?
Deb Cabral, the DeClutter Coach, joins us again with a wonderful idea of what to do with those old Christmas cards. I mentioned to Deb that I keep all my Christmas cards year after year, because people took the time out to send those cards, write messages on them, and I couldn't just throw them away after Christmas is over with. But, they sit in a box. I don't bring them out for the next year, they just sit there. The DeClutter Coach shows us a really easy way to keep those cards and display them for years to come. And it works especially good with those holiday photo cards.
In the video (at the top of this page), you'll see the clip from Deb Cabral's "Organized in 60 Seconds" that shows you how to turn your pile of Christmas cards into a beautiful display. First, you put a hole in the top of each card with a hole punch, and keep them together with a metal key ring. You can add a ribbon to make it look more festive, and a card that marks the year of those cards. Then, you can keep all these holiday cards in a basket on a coffee table, so family and friends can see all the photos and cards. Pretty simple, right? And it allows those cards to be shown off year after year instead of sitting in a box or being thrown away after the holidays are over with. Plus, it's quick and easy, and is just one more way to decorate for Christmas.
We want to thank Deb Cabral for joining us once again, and helping us get organized for the holiday season. She'll be joining us every Monday with great tips and tricks to help us keep our lives organized.
