None other than Oprah Winfrey is calling a tiny Central New York town a 'must-visit' in the latest edition of her magazine.

This picturesque village is located right on the edge of Skaneateles Lake in Upstate New York. With beautiful and serene surroundings, you can spend the days of summer relaxing in a kayak or hiking the trails. Plus, there are premium shopping outlets not far from town.

Of course, Skaneateles isn't unheard of to those of us who actually live in Central New York - we know all about the lake and the Waterloo Premium Outlets.

It's not the first 'unknown' feature in CNY to receive national attention in a major publication. The pain au chocolate (chocolate croissants) from Utica Bread were featured in Food & Wine magazine last year.

What else in Central New York do you think deserves a little national attention?
