Caitlin, 21, Carson, 20, Lily, 15, and Luke, 13, were inconvenienced with not having summer jobs due to the coronavirus pandemic - so they created their own ice cream truck business instead. It's called Lickety Split.

When we were kids, the sound of the ice cream truck sent us running to our parents for a spare dollar so we could enjoy a push-up pop or an ice cream sandwich. Not anymore.

Everyone recognizes the sound of the ice cream man. For some of us, it's pretty exciting - but maybe not as exciting as it is for one New Hartford dog.

As I was out taking a walk along Genesee Street the other night, I heard a sound that instantly brought me back to summer as a child.  The sound of the icecream truck.  Oh, what a sweet sound and sweet memory too.
