The Boilermaker road race is back to full strength this July and that means thousands of people once again at the F.X. Matt Brewery for the 2022 Boilermaker Post Race Party. Some of the runners at this years Utica Boilermaker Road Race say that the construction along the race route was an eyesore and a safety hazard. Runners were seen dodging construction cones along The Parkway and Utica councilman Joe Marino says "that's an embarrassment." Now a resolution has been passed.

Love was in the air at the 37th running of the Utica Boilermaker Road Race yesterday. Just after his girlfriend crossed the boilermaker yesterday Mike Vennero, 32, proposed to his now fiancee, Megan Risler, 28, at the 2014 Utica Boilermaker finish line yesterday.
