7 Things You Should Never Ask Or Tell A Radio DJ [Video]
I've been working in radio since I was fifteen years old so I've heard my fair share of interesting stories and quirky happenings.
My first radio job was at a little AM station in Cobleskill, New York. I started out working as a bored operator. I enjoyed pressing buttons and mixing sound, but eventually curiosity got the best of me and I decided to go on the air. I didn't ask permission first so I'm really shocked I didn't get canned on the spot.
To my surprise, my program director actually liked what he heard so he ended up giving me my own weekend show. I have no idea why he enjoyed what he heard because I was absolutely terrible on the air. My voice hadn't completely changed so I sounded like a girl with a frog in my throat.
Over the years, I've been asked some crazy questions from curious listeners. I've also been told a few things that were really outlandish. The other day I decided to put together a video of 7 unspeakable things. Believe me, the list extends way beyond 7, but I figured this would be a good start.
On this morning's Just Jen: Jen explains her passion for the UFC and mixed martial arts.
