No, this isn't the 'First Sentence Challenge' where you read the first sentence out of a book and people have to guess what the book is, this game reveals the funny thoughts you have when your brain is on auto-pilot.

It's called the 'First Sentence Game' and once you start playing, you'll have a hard time not laughing at your friends, family, and coworkers for weeks to come. Here's how it works:

You tell someone to say the first sentence that comes to their head. No thinking involved, just shout out anything, but make sure it's a sentence. First time you ask someone to do this (and probably the second or third time), it's very rigid, and usually not that funny. But once you establish the game, you start playing it everywhere, at anytime.

Once people get the hang of what's going on, and stop trying to think of what to say, they allow pretty much anything to come out. Now, don't be expecting any dirty little secrets, but you can expect objects out of the blue, and sentences that are so ridiculous it's funny.

Check out the video (at the top of this page), we decided to play the game for this week's episode of "98 Seconds with Naomi Lynn." And it's easy to see, asking people to say the first sentence that comes to their head, confuses most and makes them a little uneasy. But again, now that the game is established, who knows what our fellow coworkers will say next... or yours!

Although, most people were caught off-guard by this simple request, Dave from Beth and Dave in the Morning seems to be right on target; he didn't try to think of a response, he just let his brain do the talking. Luke Austin from our sister station had a similar reaction (which you can see in the video above).

We continued to play this game after the camera was turned off, by randomly asking people (a lot of the same people) to say the first sentence that came to their mind. Once they got the hang of it, it was pretty... "interesting."

Some of our favorite responses include:

- "Green is an ugly color for eggs."

- "I hate when the sun shines upside down."

- "I'm not ready for my... house to be clean."

Why not play it for yourself? Who knows what your friends and family will end up saying. And if they do say something crazy, we would LOVE to hear it. You can leave us a comment or message on our Lite 98.7 Facebook Page, or always call into the station and tell us: (315)721-0987
