Deb Cabral, the DeClutter Coach, joins us once again with some tips and tricks for getting organized for the holidays. This trick will make your holiday gift wrapping easier, and could help you save some money.

Where is your leftover wrapping paper from last year? Do you have any? Or do you just throw it away and buy new paper during the next Christmas season? What about gift tags, bags, bows, and everything else you use for gift-giving?

Instead of buying new paper, gift tags, tissue paper, and all the other goodies you need, why not set up a gift wrapping station? This easy to use and easy to access station will keep your wrapping paper neat, and everything else you need in easy reach, but also out of sight when you don't need it.

In the video (at the top of this page), I explain to Deb Cabral, the DeClutter Coach, that my Christmas wrapping paper has been sitting in the corner of my living room since last year. Not only that, but I found a bag of Christmas bows in a desk drawer. And when it comes to gift tags? Well, I can never find them so I end up buying more during the holidays and now I have more gift tags than I'll ever need. And that's just a waste of money.

Luckily, Deb Cabral shows us a clip from her "Organized in 60 Seconds" series that explains exactly how to make a gift wrapping station. All you need is a container big enough for your wrapping paper, bows, and other goodies and make sure it has wheels on the bottom of it. A tip to keep your wrapping paper neat and to stop it from unrolling is to use a toilet paper or paper towel roll to hold it in place. You can see how that's done in the video above. Put all your gift wrapping items into the box and you can slide it under your bed. Then when it's time to wrap gifts, you just roll it out and you're good to go. It really is that easy.

We want to thank Deb Cabral for sharing this awesome organization tip with us, and hopefully it can help you out too. If you're like Naomi Lynn and keep buying new wrapping paper, tags, and bows, or have a hard time finding what you did with that gift supplies from the last year, for just a few bucks you can create this gift wrapping station and be set. No more buying gift tags that you actually already have. Or buying more wrapping paper because yours got wrinkled and ripped up in the attic.

Deb Cabral will be joining us every Monday with more helpful tips and tricks to help us get organized, whether we're getting ready for the Christmas season, the New Year, taking care of our finances, or other places in our lives where a little organization can save us time, money, and effort.
