Matt Hubbell’s Most Embarassing Moment

Unfortunately life has a way of humbling us sometimes, and these Victoria Secret Models are no exception!

When I was working at a radio station in California we used to hold live events at the Fox Theater. It's very similar in size and stature to the historic Stanley here in Utica. One night we brought in one of my all-time favorite performers, Mandy Moore.

My job was to host the concert event and entertain the crowd before she took the stage. However, something went very wrong...

Moments before I went up on stage, a button fell off my pants. Yes the only and most important button decided to pop off. Naturally I was frantic about finding a string, or a makeshift belt of any kind to help me out in my time of desperation. I notified my program director of the tragedy that just occurred, but instead of garnering his sympathy, he burst out laughing. Fortunately one of our account executives overheard me saying I needed something to hold up my pants.

She scrambled through her purse and was eventually able to find a paper clip that would serve as a button; at least that what's I was hoping for. The paper clip held my pants up just long enough for me to get up on stage to start making the pre-concert announcements.  What happened next? Exactly what you're thinking.
