It has almost been a month since I decided I'm done with cigarettes. After a roller coaster of a month, the biggest breakthrough happened a few days ago.

This is something I am more than excited for! This breakthrough, or epiphany or whatever you want to call it - I think it changes the game! This month has had its ups and downs, good points and bad points, but the good has outweighed the bad. Every time I messed up, I learned something, and didn't mess up in the same way again (that's not to say there wasn't plenty of mess-ups!).

Not to brag, but I am proud at how far I've gotten so far, and the lessons that I've learned. This breakthrough though, beats out all the rest! Over the last few days, I've learned the difference in feelings of 'needing' and 'wanting.' And if you are a smoker, or you know someone who is one, you know how much these two things get confused in our minds.

Again, I want to thank you for following along in Quitting Smoking Challenge, as I try to quit this ridiculously bad habit. I know that making this public has helped me stick to it better than if I was just trying to do this on my own. And I love the call-ins asking how I'm doing with quitting smoking - it really helps me stay motivated! Thanks SO much!
