Two weeks until Christmas and we're already exchanging lots of gifts with our Central New York audience. A heavy week of phone calls on various topics, plus great material from our regular benchmark features, and even on-the-spot poetry.

The best bits of the week on the Lite 98.7 morning show were philosophical, lyrical and stupid. Click the video and/or follow along to the brief description below for the Best Of Beth & Dave for the week of December 10, 2018:

-Adult woobie. Beth finally broke down and broke out her favorite electric blanket--and even waxed poetic on the air. Our bed won't be the same until sometime in May.

-Nun too smart. That describes a couple of embezzlers at a Catholic school in California. We found the story provided a rich comedy vein for Your Momma Must Be So Proud.

-Shoplifting 101. A guy in Florida (where else?) gave a clinic in this particular crime and became a star in another morning's edition of Your Momma Must Be So Proud, our daily 8:15 feature

-Click. The name of an Adam Sandler movie, in which he discovers a remote control clicker that controls human behavior. If only WE had one of those....

-Men vs. Women, Part 567. The battle of the sexes continued with a statistic that became the basis for The Kinda Hard Question one morning.
