Sign At a Central New York Business Takes Another Strange Turn

This is Part 3 of our continuing, hard-hitting series on the sign at the Bass Pro Shops building in North Utica. We've been following for months and months the changing faulty lights which are supposed to read TRACKER BOATS.

You can see above the latest development in the "letter outage." For posterity's sake (and the understanding of future generations who may go back and study this phenomenon), this reporter snapped the latest photo at about 4:30 AM on Thursday, October 19, 2017.

To bring everyone up to speed, this is where we've been:

If you're keeping score at home (and who isn't?), the sign has read: TRACKE BOTS, TRACKER BOTS, TRACKE BOATS, and now...TRAKE BOTS.

Now, it's like a game. What will be next? TRE BATS? RACE BOATS? TACKE BOATS? TAKE BOATS?

That last one could spell trouble for Bass Pro Shops. TAKE BOATS? Thanks. Don't mind if we do.
