Even if you're a little short on cash, you can enjoy the Great New York State Fair. Stop by on their Summer Send Off "Dollar Day."

Thousands upon thousands of people will be in Syracuse soon, for The Great New York State Fair. The fair offers something for everyone - from amusement rides and free concerts, to demonstrations and animal showings.

Going to the New York State Fair (or any fair, for that matter), can get pretty costly, fast. If you wanted to head to the fair, but don't have a lot of extra money on hand - don't worry! You can still go, have a great time, and get the full 'fair experience.'

The fair is offering their "Summer Send Off Dollar Day" on Monday, September 5, 2016 (Labor Day) - with tons of great deals for just one dollar. According to the New York State Fair,

  • Adult admission to the Fair will be $1.00 per person all day.
  • All of the rides in the Wade Shows Midway will be $1.00 per ride.
  • We’ll light up the night and say farewell to the Fair at dusk, right after the final Chevy Court concert of the year at 6:00pm.

That final Chevy Court concert will be "Chicago" - And as with all the performances at the Chevy Court, it is a free concert.

Parking will still cost $5. But for you and your family to head to the fair on the cheap - Monday is the day to do it. Food, entertainment, rides, and a great afternoon - You can still make it out to the New York State Fair!
