Thousands upon thousands of people will be in Syracuse over the next week, as The Great New York State Fair continues. The fair offers something for everyone - from amusement rides and free concerts, to demonstrations and animal showings.

Going to the New York State Fair (or any fair, for that matter), can get pretty costly, fast. If you wanted to head to the fair, but don't have a lot of extra money on hand - don't worry! You can still go, have a great time, and get the full 'fair experience.'

The fair is offering 'Dollar Day,' on Monday, September 7, 2015 (Labor Day) - with tons of great deals for just one dollar. According to the Great New York State Fair,

  • Adult admission to the Fair will be $1.00 per person all day.
  • All of the rides in the Wade Shows Midway will be $1.00 per ride.
  • Vendors offering $1.00 specials on food, drink, and merchandise...

There will also be the free concert as part of the Chevy Court Concert Series. Nick Jonas will take to the stage at 6pm.

Parking will still cost $5. But for you and your family to head to the fair on the cheap - Monday is the day to do it. Food, entertainment, rides, and a great afternoon - You can still make it out to the New York State Fair!
