After attempting to quit smoking, and failing miserably - a new approach was taken. How is this second week with the new plan going? Well, better than expected.

Back in July, I issued a 'Quitting Smoking Challenge.' I'm sick of wasting the money, and I don't want to deal with the long-term health consequences of being a smoker. My quitting smoking mode was 'Cold Turkey.' That attempt... well, it had its good moments and bad moments (more bad than good, unfortunately).

So last week, I decided to take a new approach - Cutting Back. I started at 8 cigarettes per day, for the week. How did it go?

I really think this 'Cutting Back' approach is right for me. Fingers crossed it keeps working (I'm not going to lie, I'm a little worried what's going to happen when I get down to 4 or 3 a day). But I think it will work -
"Smoke-Free by December 1st!"
